Emergency shelter campaign
for displaced families in Gaza
The Gaza Strip has been facing a worsening humanitarian crisis since October 2023, with thousands of homes destroyed, forcing families to be displaced and seek safe shelter under disastrous conditions. In response to these conditions, the Humanitarian Relief Foundation is launching an urgent campaign to provide 1.000 high-quality tents to lodging affected families, with the aim of providing them with a shelter that protects them from weather and health risks.
The campaign targets families who have lost their homes, giving priority to the most vulnerable families, such as those with young children, the elderly or the disabled. Tents measuring 4 x 6 m, made from rain- and fire-resistant materials and easy to erect, will be provided to ensure a rapid response.
The cost of equipping and supplying a tent is $ 600.-. The Foundation has already acquired a good deal of experience in this field, having supplied 200 tents from Turkey to establish the Swiss-Palestinian Friendship Camp in Deir al-Balah, reinforcing the success of this campaign in bringing emergency aid to displaced families.
